Endometriosis - What is it and how do you treat it?

Endometriosis affects 11% of women between the ages of 15 - 44. It is especially common among women in their 30’s and 40’s and it can make it hard for women to fall pregnant and live a comfortable pain free life. In this episode of The Expert Guide to Parenthood Podcast we welcome back our IVF and Fertility Expert Dr Rachael Knight from Life Fertility Melbourne to share her advice and expertise on this subject that is not talked about enough.

We discuss:
• What is endometriosis?
• How common is it?
• What are the symptoms?
• How does it affect your quality of life?
• Does endometriosis impact the chance of falling pregnant?
• How is it diagnosed?
• When to seek help?
• What are the treatments and supports available?
• Does endometriosis change over the years ie. when women go into Menopause?

This is a must-listen episode for anyone who has suffered with symptoms of endometriosis, has been diagnosed with endometriosis, or who knows someone who has.
